Today I woke up at 9 AM, got ready, and then waited from 10 AM-10:30 AM for Sydney to arrive who was supposed to go with me to the auditions. She never showed up, so I had to go by myself.
At the theatre I filled out an application thingy, and then waited for quite awhile with a bunch of other Les Mis prospects. It was cool because they were all really friendly.
Eventually I finally went in...it was so bad! I was shaking, wasn't singing on key, was whiny, and WAY too quiet. Gah! I hate myself thinking back on it! Anyway, they had me sing my song, that was bad, so they had me close my eyes and pretend I wasn't there and sing it again, it was better but still ghastly, and then they had me do some scales thingies. I think I did ok-ish, I don't really know if I was on tune or whatnot! I hope they call soon because I really want to know! I don't think I made it but my mom is certain they'll have me do something. I only saw about 10 people there, and I was there for over an hour which is about one-third of the time they had auditions open for. So maybe they won't have enough people and I'll get to do something! Err...I hate myself on that audition!
